On Thursday, October 1, Serap Güler, member of the Defense Committee of the German Bundestag, visited the Academy.

She was informed about the work of the Academy and the fellows had the opportunity to present her research projects. This was followed by an exchange on pressing issues in international politics. In particular, they discussed the changed framework conditions since Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine in violation of international law and what this means for the overall security policy constellation in Europe, as well as issues of migration and integration.
