The Geopolitics of Outer Space
The German Political Science Association (Deutsche Vereinigung Für Politikwissenschaft – DVPW) organized its 29th Annual Academic Convention at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. The overarching theme was “Politics in times of Polycrisis”.
On September 26th Katja Freistein and Manuel Becker of AIA NRW organized and co-chaired a panel entitled “The Geopolitics of Outer Space – A Key Domain in International Affairs”. We are grateful to our esteemed Fellows Chelsea Haramia, Güneş Ünüvar Adam Bower, and Raúl González Muñoz for sharing their expertise and for engaging a truly interdisciplinary debate. We also thank Antje Nötzold for being the discussant.
In addition to this panel, our fellows had the opportunity to attend other exciting events and make contacts in the German scientific landscape. Thanks to the team of DVPW for organizing this wonderful event.
