This workshop is aimed at scientists, university staff and communication managers from our network (and Friends) who want to improve their social media strategies in a targeted manner. The focus is on science communication and student marketing through digital channels.
On the first day, participants will receive an introduction to the basics and challenges of social media communication in a scientific context. Practical exercises to analyse target groups help to develop customised strategies.
The second day is dedicated to specific measures to increase the visibility of meteorological research and degree programmes. Current trends and practical content creation with tools such as CANVA are the focus. Through interactive exercises and discussions, participants will gain valuable insights and applicable strategies for their social media work.
The workshop also offers space for networking and exchanging experiences in order to promote long-term synergies and develop a joint social media strategy.
